Our last hope is Project Necessity, which brings together a group of geniuses to invent solutions. One of the solutions is to send information 50 years back in time.

  • Great Comic Con

    2026 was our 13 year of SDCC.

    Things have changed over those years but we still love going. We go all five day. We have expanded our activities to include daily post Con rituals.

    We have paella and too much sangria at Cafe Sevilla.

    Rockin Baja Lobster is often our lunch on Wednesday.

    Saturday night is always the False Idol tiki bar speakeasy. We get several island drinks a piece and also share one of the big drinks that makes the volcano erupt. After the False Idol we walk (stagger) a few blocks to Little Italy for some yummy carbs.

    Sunday night is always the Fish Market. We get reservations so we can sit out on the deck to eat and watch the harbor and the lights of carrier Midway.

    Tomorrow is preview night!

    We have been going to SDCC for decades. Always new things to see and do. I need to register for the blood drive donation

  • 2 Days to SDCC

    Always a fun time of year. Drove 2 days and waiting in the desert for a friend to arrive tomorrow then we drive to the coast.

  • 13 Days to SDCC!

    Getting excited! Probably leaving in 8 days to start the drive to CA through Colorado and Utah.

  • Fun Game Night

    Just a three person game night of light card games. Lots of fun.
